Google Webmasters Series: Part 5 – Differentiate your business from the competition

As this series winds down, the goal of the last two videos is to help potential customers select your business from the competition. Video 5 begins with a summary of what’s been accomplished in the previous videos and then focus on the engagement stage by effectively answering client questions and reinforcing the value-add.

  • List the most common questions your customer would have.
  • Check out the competition for good ideas and benchmarking.
  • Put yourself in the customer’s shoes and show testimonials.
  • Brainstorm how to demonstrate your value-add beyond text such as with photos, maps to indicate service area, videos and link to pertinent information.
